Whole Spa Diet

When you need a reset, to lose a few pounds, or just reestablish your habits, I always come back to a whole foods plus daily exercise and self care regimen. It's so simple to lose weight, get your skin looking great again, sleep well, boost your immunity, and tone up.  All you have to do is eat everything whole and natural, and avoid all processed and packaged foods (unless you're talking prepackaged, pre-cut vegetables!), exercise, and take come time to indulge in some sauna, spa, and self-care.  Daily oil pulling will rid you of toxins and help in the detox process.  Avoiding all seed oils is very important.  Here are the details:

Well, can I have?

People will ask if they can have cheese? No. Yogurt?  No.  Cream in my coffee?  No.  Homemade muffins?  No. Gluten free bread?  No.  "Well, then, what can I have?!"  Strawberries, salmon baked in olive oil with a side of roasted Brussels sprouts, a steak with a side of green beans in butter, scrambled or hard boiled eggs, a banana, a baked sweet potato with butter, roasted chicken with a side of broccoli air-fried in olive oil, pears, apples, cherries, watermelon, carrots in smashed avocado, sliced cucumbers dipped in avocado smashed with salt and lime juice, homemade soup, sauteed vegetables in a bowl with grass fed ground beef, baked chicken thighs, baked potatoes with pepper and salted butter, coffee with salt!  There are so many choices of meat, vegetable, fruit, and healthy fat that you will never go hungry or wanting.  You just might need to spend a little time in the kitchen.  If you don't have time, have some hard boiled eggs ready to go, and toss a few with a banana, and apple, and a bag of baby carrots in your bag.  Do NOT put any bread, sweeteners, sugar, grains, or packaged foods in your mouth!  Those "naturally essenced" sparkling waters are ok, as long as there are no sugars or artificial sweeteners.  You will be getting so much nutrition, you will feel amazing, sleep well, and your energy will soar.  Promise!
